Board of Director Meeting Minutes
February 8, 2006

Minutes
Minutes from the January meeting was approved and signed off.

Website Discussion
The website looks good. The minutes are current. However, some job postings are on there too long. We want them to be taken off after 30 days. Steve has already asked the webmaster to put the post date on each listing when it is added to the web site. Currently there is a link to the 2006 national ISM conference. This should be changed to the 2007 conference. GERRY will cover these changes with the webmaster.

Satellite Seminar
We have 3 potential sites. (1) AT&T (used once before): Room is reserved. Still checking on equipment which was damaged during the high winds. (2) DVC: Still equipment issues. Awaiting response from them on current status. (3) East Bay (Cal State Hayward): Have not used this site before. Have received contact information. GERRY to follow-up. The next broadcast is on April 19th.

Software Licensing Seminar
This seminar was very successful. STEVE did an excellent job of producing this event. Kudos to Steve! Further discussion is tabled until the next Board meeting.

Treasurer’s Report
Tabled until next Board meeting.

Future Programs
Tabled until next Board meeting. We have feedback from members and attendees on types of programs they are interested in. EACH BOARD MEMBER will review the spreadsheets previously distributed by JENNIFER and STEVE and come prepared to discuss and make decisions on our path forward. We’ve had the most success with seminars, including the satellite seminars, and joint dinner meetings with other organizations. We’ve had the least success and attendance at dinner meetings for our own members.

Election Planning
Tabled until next Board meeting. We need to work on bringing new people to the Board.

Membership
We now have 75 members. GERRY confirmed that she previously distributed the spreadsheet of members’ contact information for EACH BOARD MEMBER to review and update. She also sent an updated list to John Semanik for Supplier Knowledge.

Next Board Meeting
Preliminarily, we are planning to have the next Board meeting on Wednesday, March 7, so that most of the Board members can attend.
