Board of Director Meeting Minutes
October 15, 2007
6:45 - 8:30 pm

Attendees:  Jennifer Farros, Steve Hackett, Debra Grieg, Gerry Bryant

Minutes
GERRY presented the September minutes which were approved.

Treasurer’s Report
STEVE presented  the Treasurer’s report which was reviewed, revised, and we are on track.

Membership
GERRY reported that we now have 72 members, 13 of which are NEW, 5 are dues free and 9 are volume discount.  GERRY and JENNIFER will follow-up to clean up our mailing lists.

Webmaster
STEVE stated that Noam Szoke is ready to start.  STEVE will contact Karina (our current webmaster) so that Noam and Karina can coordinate the change-over.

September Social Event
DEBRA reported that the event was worthwhile and we agreed to do this type of event again.  In the future, we will mention our planned events.

Satellite Seminar
GERRY reported that the Satellite Seminar was successful and we will continue hosting them in the future.

Supply Knowledge
GERRY has been unable to reach John Semanik.  This issue has been tabled until next meeting.

November 15th 6 Sigma Class
DEBRA is responsible for the room and reservations.  STEVE will create the flyer.  JENNIFER will send out.

CPSM Pilot Testing
Testing will be from 2/1/08-3/31/08.  We need to determine where, proctor, members to take the tests, test preparations.  NAPM-Northern California is also doing this.  GERRY will work with them to maximize all our assets.  Note that the proctor is excluded from ever taking the CPSM test.  JENNIFER will ask Mike Forman to draft a flyer that includes the necessary information for this event.

December 4th Co-Host with NAPM-NC
GERRY will ask Jay Krider (President of NAPM-NC) for details so we can coordinate together.

Open Discussion

• A request came in regarding SAP training.
• Newsletter:  JENNIFER will create a one page draft of a newsletter.

Next Board Meeting
Our next meeting is scheduled for November 8.
