Board of Director Meeting Minutes
February 13, 2008

Minutes
Review of January minutes postponed until next meeting.

Treasurer’s Report
Steve reviewed budget and actuals. We are on track, but in better position than we were last year at this time. Discussed the viability of purchasing projector/screen/flip charts as these items are expensive when rented from a hotel. We have no more seminars scheduled for this year. Will discuss when we develop our schedule for next year.

Membership
Gerry reported that our membership is now 80, 22 of which are new.

Website
Jennifer noted that it looks like changes previously suggested have been made.

Supply Knowledge
Gerry to draft language to cancel this feature that we are not using and no longer have access to.

Lunch with Jan Miller
Steve reported that the lunch was very successful. Jan Miller not only covered CPSM but also gave an overview of the ISM website—valuable information. We may want to use some of the information she provided to spark interest in our organization.

Satellite Seminar
Gerry reported that this month’s seminar on Market Intelligence was successful. 20 attended. We were in a larger theater room which was comfortable. We still have issues with the low volume of the broadcast from Arizona and are continuing to work on this. The next seminar is April 17th.

March 20 Dinner
Decided Left Bank is too expensive. We’ll each look for another venue. Debra will check on Pyramid Ale in Walnut Creek and the Crown in Concord. We decided a restaurant is the best place and we want a separate room. Debra will order ISM cardcases. Steve will accept reservations.

ISM Leadership Conference in Las Vegas
It’s the first weekend in August at Bally’s. We each should make our own reservations. Might not yet be on the ISM website. Changes to Articles of Incorporation We determined that changes were not necessary at this time. We next need to pay the State in 2009.

Mailing List
Gerry will update the list to include those who attended the lunch and the satellite seminar. We will capture emails from our previous seminars and lunches and add them to the list.

Next Meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2008.
