September minutes approved. 

Treasurer’s Report
We reviewed the budget and actuals. Concerned about dues hitting in the correct year. May need to adjust this. Also, the 2009 Leadership Conference has been cancelled by ISM due to monetary constraints.

Membership
Our current membership is 64.  The Board needs to continue contacting members that have not renewed that were assigned to each by Carla.

Web Site
Discussed design of Events section. Gerry will work with webmaster to update.

Events
Jennifer will be sending out an email reminder for the Satellite Seminar, a copy of the Events calendar, and a flyer for the November dinner.

October 16- Satellite Seminar- Lean Concepts
We have 11 sign-ups.  Since Jennifer will be attending, she willl bring the calendar of events and other ISM collateral.

November 13-Dinner/Speaker at Pyramid Ale House
Gerry to work with Brian Isikoff on bio and title of talk. Debra will accept reservations for the event.

January 22-Dinner/Speaker
Debra and Carla to report on their efforts at next meeting.

March 4-Supplier Event
Steve contacted the hotel and reported on size, cost, deposit, cancellation, food.  Board members to get verbal commitment from Suppliers participating.

Also discussed events we have scheduled for 2009:
April 23-Satellite Seminar-Negotiating.  Note that February and June 2009 Satellite Seminars have been cancelled by ISM.

May 14-All Day Seminar-Global Sourcing is potential topic.

June 10-Summer Social.

Next Meeting
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2008.
