October minutes approved.
Treasurer’s Report
We reviewed the budget and actuals. Steve reported we are now getting mail at our new mailbox.
The address is P.O. Box 21515, Concord, CA 94521.
Membership
Gerry reported that our current membership is 66. The Board needs to continue contacting members that have not renewed that were assigned to each by Carla.
Web Site
The web site looks good. Gerry will continue to work with webmaster to update.
Events
October 16- Satellite Seminar- Lean Concepts
This event was successful. There have been changes at Cal State East Bay. Gerry will work with them to see if we can continue to hold these seminars there. The next seminar is scheduled for April, 2009.
November 13-Dinner/Speaker at Pyramid Ale House
Debra is concerned that there are not many sign-ups. We need a minimum in order to put this on. Jennifer will send out another email requesting more signups. If we do not have enough sign-ups by Friday, we will cancel, notify our mailing list, and show on our website. Gerry will let Brian know that this may have to be cancelled.
January 22-Dinner/Speaker
Debra and Carla to report on their efforts at next meeting. Steve has an exciting idea for a career event and has been in contact with several people. We discussed several ideas, dates, times. Steve will pursue this and report at the next meeting.
March 4-Supplier Event
Discussed event.
Next Meeting
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
